Having said that, we now will take a look at the Nascar Odds on the top Drivers, as we come up to Sunday and the Race.

First Jimmie Johnson at (+400) This Sprint Cup Defending Champion has been hot and cold in this 2010 Nascar season and he is trying for this 5th consecutive Title. In the beginning he came on strong, in early summer slumped and in late June was back on step and presently on a slide. In his last two races he finished 21st and 28th. He has also dropped to 5th in the present point standings and trying to recoup his style for the Chase Cup the starts on September 19th. What are the Nascar Odds on the CarFax400?

Secondly Denny Hamlin at (+500) He is going to try to repeat what he did at Michigan last time when he had a 1st place finish in June at MIS when he lead for 123 laps for the Heluva Good !Sour Cream Dips 400. Hamlin has been 1st in 5 of the last 8 races at MIS. This he was fined $50,000 for spouting off on Twitter about the team and the management. Hamlin is presently 6th in the current Sprint Cup Chase standings. See the Nascar Betting lines on Sunday’s race from Brooklyn, Michigan.

Next Kurt Busch at (+800) The oldest of the Busch brothers had a impressive run at the Glen last weekend when he lead for 170 laps and finished in 2nd place. Winning that race pushed him to 4th in the Standings. As an always outspoken driver he has been making the news as of late tangling with Jimmie Johnson and Hendrick Motorsports especially at Pocono and his team hope he can put that energy to work this coming Sunday. In June he ended the race at MIS in 3rd and has two career victories at the Brooklyn 2 mile oval track in Michigan. Will the Brothers move up in the Nascar Odds for this race?

Last Kyle Busch at (+900) this might be a great weekend for the brothers while Kyle is in 7th place Kurt is in 4th in the Standings. Three weeks past he was 8th at Indy and 8th at Watkins Glen. The Joe Gibbs Star has only been able to finish once in the top 5 at MIS and in 11 starts he was able to only finish in the top 10 only 3 times. In June he was 20th at MIS and the CARFAX 400 of 2009 he was 23rd. Check out the Nascar Betting lines for this CarFax400 for this Sunday!

Jimmie Johnson is the favorite to win the Brickyard 400 odds on Sunday and deservedly so as he is the two-time defending race champion and he has also won the race in three of the last four years. Gordon is +225 at SBG Global while Tony Stewart is the second choice at 7-1 followed by Denny Hamlin, Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch at 7.5 to 1.

Gordon could be the one to watch on Sunday in this race that can be seen on ESPN. He has won four times at the Brickyard betting and he holds the record for most laps led. He has nine top ten finishes in the race. The Brickyard is almost always won by a big name driver. That makes sense considering Gordon and Johnson have won seven of the 15 races. In the past 14 years, the race has been won by a championship driver. Also, in seven of the 15 races, the winner of this race went on to win the Sprint Cup Championship.

That last stat could bode well for Kevin Harvick who is the point’s leader. He is capable of having a good race and he is listed with odds of 10.5 to 1. Also at 10.5 to 1 are Kurt Busch and Juan Pablo Montoya. Busch has not done that well at Indianapolis but he is having a very good season and could break into the win column for Roger Penske on the NASCAR odds side at Indy. Montoya has a lot of experience at Indy and he probably would have won the race last year if not for a speeding penalty.

A driver who desperately needs a good run this week is Mark Martin. He has not had a top 10 finish since May. He won the pole in this race last year and finished second. He has some appeal at longshot odds of 20.5 to 1.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is still very popular but he doesn’t win. He has been very poor at the Brickyard with only two top 10s and three DNFs. Those three DNFS came in the past five years. Earnhardt Jr. is considered a longshot in NASCAR odds at 31-1. Also at 31-1 is David Reutimann and he should not be counted out since he is coming off a win.
