Here at SBGGlobal sportsbook we will most certainly have NBA Betting and basketball betting lines and odds that will get your attention! Tonight Wed. Mar.17 there’s a great matchup between the San Antonio Spurs (40-25) at the Orlando Magic (47-21). These two teams have been two of the NBA’s hottest teams over the past 2 1/2 weeks.

Not too many fans have stopped to realize that Orlando has used this run to help them to clinch a fourth straight NBA playoff berth. The San Antonio Spurs need a few more wins in their attempt to keep the NBA’s longest active streak of postseason appearances alive. Tonight the Spurs will attempt to win their ninth victory in 10 tries against the Magic, who are trying to bounce back after their season high eight game win streak was broken.

Orlando clinched it spot in the postseason on Tuesday evening with Charlottes 99-94 loss in Indiana, and the Magic are still seeking its third straight Southeast Division Title. They are ahead of Atlanta Hawks by three games. The Magic missed an opportunity to increase their lead Sunday at home against the Charlotte Bobcats when they drew within a point in the fourth quarter but could not get the lead. Check the NBA Basketball Odds and Basketball betting lines at SBGGlobal.com on tonight’s game with the Spurs at Orlando.

With the latest surge, the Spurs have climbed into a tie for sixth place in the West as it strives for a 13th consecutive playoff berth. Presently they are only a game ahead of Portland and 5 1/2 up on ninth-place Memphis. Let’s hope the Spurs can continue its recent impressive defensive efforts so that they continue to make strides in clinching a playoff spot. The Spurs are in position for their third five-game winning streak this season, however last season they suffered their first season sweep to the Orlando Magic. Whatever the case may be this game is most important for both teams and the lines and odds should prove to be very interesting and more than likely at SBGGlobal.com you can expect the NBA Basketball Odds and the NBA Betting lines to be very competitive and likely on the move. Presently SBGGlobal.com is showing the Magic as favored by 7 and the Over/under of 193 and on the Money Line the Magic is -300 and the Spurs +250. Enjoy the game and bet with a friend or two, or three as the more the merrier!

Butler is a 2.5 point favorite with a total of 130 at SBG Global.

Butler is led by Horizon League Player of the Year, Matt Howard who led the team in scoring and rebounding. The Bulldogs were the best road team in the country this season and road victories usually translate to NCAA Tournament success. “Whoooo, are they good,” UTEP coach Tony Barbee said, “They are a talented team and they can beat you in a lot of ways. I always admired the Butler program growing up, watching them as one of my home town teams. Our guys should have been excited Sunday. That was a well-deserved honor, for us to be picked as an at-large team in the NCAA Tournament. Now, though, the task at hand is Butler.” The Bulldogs are still not getting much respect though as only a 2.5 point favorite. “We haven’t lost since December, it has us really confident, believing that we can go out and play with anybody,” Butler’s Willie Veasley said. “Of course we know that with each game that we have to heighten our focus, that’s going to be a key going into this tournament.”

UTEP is led by junior point guard Randy Culpepper who averages 18 points per game. The Miners also have former Louisville player Derrick Caracter who averaged 13.8 points per game this college basketball betting season. UTEP had won 16 straight before losing the Conference USA title game against Houston.

The Miners are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog. The Miners are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games. The Bulldogs are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 neutral site games.

The Over is 7-1-1 in the Miners last 9 neutral site games. The Over is 36-15 in the Miners last 51 games as an underdog. The Under is 5-0 in the Bulldogs last 5 overall.

This is the third straight year Marquette has been a number six seed in the NCAA tournament. Two years ago they beat 11th-seeded Kentucky in the first round before losing to third-seeded Stanford in overtime in the second round. Last year, Marquette beat 11th-seeded Utah State and lost to third-seeded Missouri in the second round. It is the fifth straight year the Eagles have made the tournament.

Marquette is a 2-point favorite at SBG Global.

Not much was expected of Marquette this season since they lost three starters but the Eagles really came together late in the season winning 11 of their last 14 games. The Eagles don’t have much of a bench so the starters are a big key. Marquette had some nice wins this year over Villanova, Georgetown and Xavier so they are capable of making a little run in the NCAA Tournament. Lazar Hayward is their big scorer. He was named second team All-Big East this college basketball betting season. Marquette is a good shooting team, especially from long range. The Eagles averaged 72.9 points per game this season while they allowed 64.2 points per game.

The Huskies had what could be considered a disappointing regular season but they made up for it by winning the Pac-10 Tournament. Washington has some players who can make an impact including Quincy Pondexter who leads the team in scoring.

Marquette and Washington have met twice in history but it was a long time ago. Marquette won 75-74 in 1966 and 71-63 in 1978.

The Huskies are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall but they are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 non-conference college basketball betting games. The Huskies are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog.

The Golden Eagles are 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 non-conference games. The Golden Eagles are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.

The Over is 5-1 in the Huskies last 6 neutral site games as an underdog. The Under is 17-8 in the Huskies last 25 non-conference games. The Under is 4-0 in the Golden Eagles last 4 neutral site games as a favorite. The Over is 10-2 in the Golden Eagles last 12 NCAA Tournament games.

The first week of March that continues through the first week of April, and in some places known as the Madness of March! A great opportunity for the sports fans who enjoy NCAA betting or love to see the basketball betting and betting odds for the these NCAA tournaments which in reality for the National Collegiate Athletic Association(NCAA) Mens’s and Women’s Basketball tournaments which in the end determine the national champions of college basketball.

The NCAA Tournaments are an American tradition that sends millions of fans in to synchronized frenzy each year normally beginning in the first week of March, and it is the chaos and craziness that gives the tournament its March Madness nickname! This March Madness hype is the concentration of 65 teams vying for college basketball’s biggest prize. It’s the last-second, buzzer-beating baskets, the mania of winning to play another day, and the agony of losing and going home, not the winner. And this mania is also supported by the sports fans and fanatics who seek the NCAA betting lines and their thirst for keeping updated with all the NCAA Basketball betting and betting lines and odds that are constantly updated by one of the World’s favorite sportsbook, SBGGlobal.com and they have over 10 years experience with March Madness and the mania.

March Madness was not used to describe the NCAA Basketball tournament until 1982, when Brent Musburger, a CBS reporter, used the term during the telecast of a tournament game. College basketball fans and the media have been using the term ever since. Today, after a court battle over the ownership of the term, March Madness is co-owned by the NCAA and IHSA through the March Madness Athletic Association.

Tickets to the Dance – There are 327 teams in Division I college basketball, and each one begins every basketball betting season with one dream, it being winning the national championship. Sixty-five men’s teams and 64 women’s teams are granted invitations. Each tournament has its own committee. The selection committee meets between the Thursday and Sunday prior to the date selected for the tournament’s first game. Its job is to filter out the teams deserving of an invitation. The decisions were announced on television during Selection Sunday. There are 31 teams that get an automatic invite to the tournament, which is their reward for winning their respective conferences. The Ivy League does not hold a tournament. The remaining invites, 34 for men and 33 for women, are left in the hands of the selection committee. Of the teams left in the pool, there are certain teams that are assured a spot in the tournament, teams that don’t make the cut, and then there is a third group of teams, called “bubble” teams, that could go either way.

Now that you have an idea what the tournament is about who make the final 65, be aware that there are many more factors that are reviewed by the NCAA Tournament committee and in our next article we will try to explain more of the process and the brackets for the tournament and will also give you an insight to the “NIT” tournament that starts tomorrow and SBGGlobal.com has lines for the NIT Tournament and will be posting lines for the Thursday opening round of the NCAA Tournament for those fans and fanatics who seek the NCAA Betting lines and basketball odds for these fantastic College Basketball tournaments.

Yet in the conference’s half decade reign atop the college basketball betting it hasn’t brought home an NCAA odds championship since UConn won in 2004, and at that point in time the conference wasn’t even at the top of the food chain. In other words, for all the hype and all the regular season success teams from this conference have choked at the Big Dance.

This year should be different. This year the Big East has had many teams high in the rankings but could enter the college basketball betting tournament without a single #1 seed. And that small slight could prove the motivation these teams need to break free in the NCAA odds.

But more importantly there are a handful of excellent teams in the conference and we’re likely to see at six in the NCAA odds tournament. With so many teams in the running the odds that a big East team will win the title are greatly enhanced.

Also several traditional powerhouse programs and conferences are having off years, which further opens the doors for a possible Big East champion. Anyway you look at it the Big East is loaded with talent and has failed to live up its billing in recent years, but it’s simply too good a conference not to win a title and this could be the year.

Lakers are listed as 7 -point favorite with a total of 222 at SBG Global.

The Lakers have lost ground to Cleveland for the best record in the league and they are not happy about that. “I think more than anything else, we want to keep pace with Cleveland,” head coach Phil Jackson said. “That’s the thing that we’ve really been disappointed in.” The Lakers are 18-13 on the road this NBA betting season and they have seven of their next nine away from home. “This is a perfect schedule headed to the playoffs,” Lamar Odom said. “You have to have a road mentality — a win-by-all-means type of mentality. Hopefully we kind of started that mentality [Friday]. You just keep going. Keep running through people until they quit, until they stop.”

The Lakers want to start getting ready for the NBA betting playoffs and going on the road actually helps. “I kind of like it,” Pau Gasol said. “I enjoy being on the road. Games are tougher and we get more challenged on the road. All of those games are tests for our ballclub. I wish we could have done a little better in the games that we have lost. But we still have many more games coming up that are going to be very hard and we’re going to have to prove ourselves and play well.”

The Lakers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Pacific. The Lakers are 1-6-1 ATS in their last 8 Monday games.

The Warriors are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 vs. the Pacific. The Warriors are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Monday games.

The Under is 7-1 in the Lakers last 8 vs. the Western Conference. The Under is 11-4 in the Lakers last 15 overall. The Over is 4-1 in the Warriors last 5 vs. the Western Conference. The Under is 5-2 in the Warriors last 7 home games. The Over is 23-9 in the last 32 meetings between the Lakers and Warriors.

Today we at Sports Media Network take a look at poker and offer some words from the wise or wiser than most. To begin with if you are new to the World of online poker, it is recommended that in the beginning you enter only freeroll games and it is suggested you not deposit to much until you get accustomed with the software and the way of playing poker online.

In poker whether it is online or elsewhere you should carefully select your starting hands. You do not need to play every hand that you are dealt, and if you should you will more than likely loose money in the long run. And certainly never bet all your money on the basis if one card.

It is very important that you read as many article on poker and strategy theories as you can without completing confusing your self, and therefore just give yourself time to learn the necessities. Also, try to reduce the number of mistakes that you make in your games played on a daily basis, and don’t make the mistake that you think poker is not a skill based game. Know your limits and play by a bankroll management strategy.

If you want to be a big poker player or pro, you need to possess the ability or learn to “read” the other players, and get in to their minds and thoughts, and their way of playing their hands. The advice given here are some very small, and basic advice for all. Playing Poker and gambling is hard work. Don’t let anyone tell you different. Just think about what its like sitting at a poker table with players whose only goal is to cut your throat, take your money, and leave you out talking to yourself about what went wrong. That might sound harsh, but that’s the way it is at the poker table. If you can’t believe that, then you’re the lamb that’s going off to the slaughter. Poker is a microcosm of all we admire and disdain about capitalism and democracy. It can be rough-hewn or polished, warm or cold, charitable and caring, or hard and impersonal, fickle and elusive, but ultimately it is fair, and right, and just.

If you want to learn more poker rules, strategies and get a freeroll bankroll in the mean time why not join pokerhost.com as they are very knowledgeable of online poker players. A quote we repeat for your benefit is “Most of the money you’ll win at poker comes not from the brilliance of your own poker play, but from the ineptitude of that of your poker playing opponents.

There are several conferences in college basketball betting that are the equivalent to the sports royalty. Just as there are individual programs in the NCAA odds like UCLA, Kentucky, Duke and North Carolina that stand out among the college basketball betting so too are their conferences that stand out. The ACC, the Big East and perhaps none more so than the PAC 10.

Until this year.

This is the single worst performance by the PAC 10 in the NCAA odds perhaps ever. It’s almost unheard of not to have at least one PAC 10 team in the national title discussion and at least several ranked in the top 25 at any given point during the college basketball betting season.

But in 2010 it’s hard to even remember there was a ranked PAC 10 team. Forget about an NCAA odds championship, just getting a team in the college basketball betting tournament would be a great accomplishment considering the awful play in the conference this season.

Cal has more or less secured the regular season PAC 10 title with a 12-5 mark (20-9) overall. Arizona St can do no worse than second with an 11-6 record (21-9) and the only other team with even a shred of a hope of somehow making the Big Dance is the Washington Huskies, 10-7 in conference (20-9).

Fortunately for PAC 10 fans at least one team is guaranteed a spot in the March Madness as the winner of the conference gets an automatic big based on past glory. But an at large bid will be very hard to come by. If either Cal or ASU fails to win the conference tourney there is a chance they could get an at large invite, but they’ll get terribly low seeds if they are invited.
