Tonight there are three preseason NFL games and the first coming your way will be the Saints of New Orleans at the Patriots of New England. This will be the first time the Saints play a game as the Super Bowl Champions at Gillette Stadium at 7:30 PM EDT. The Saints want to try to improve in 2010 and as always want to win another Super Bowl. On the other side is the team of the decade the Patriots who have won three Super Bowls and are normally in the playoffs each year. The Saints organization is looking for that same success. The Second game tonight in this Preseason Thursday is the Panthers of Carolina taking on the Ravens of Baltimore at 8 PM EDT a match-up of two teams who like nothing better than to run the football. The Panthers were 3rd last year in rushing and had a NFL history first with 2 running backs with 1,100 yards rushing in the same 2009 season. This ability to run the ball keeps the defense on it toes. On the other side the Ravens have the rushing ability also as one back had 1,399 yards rushing and the other had 12 touchdowns and they ranked 5th in the NFL for yards per game gains. The last game for Thursday evening NFL preseason you will see the Raiders of Oakland playing the Cowboys of Dallas at 9 PM EDT. For the Raiders Jason Campbell will debut as Quarterback and owner Davis thinks this guy has it all! He says he’s big, smart and he can run and throw the long ball, and to top that his record at QB at Auburn was 13-0. He seems to also speak highly of all the young talent the Raiders have and future potential. Unfortunately for the Cowboys they have 12 players that will be out due to injuries since their first preseason game with the Bengals and it’s only been four day since that game.
