The Clock Work Orange has been one of the most famed, and feared teams in international soccer betting competition for years, but it’s never won the World Cup betting competition. It’s come close several times making it all the way to back-to-back World Cup betting finals appearances in 1974 and 1978 but ultimately falling to the host countries of Germany and Argentina. It’s always been something that hadn’t sat well with Dutch fan, an unlucky break in soccer betting history, but on Sunday Holland will be playing for its first World Cup betting title on neutral soil and the will emerge victoriously.
You would hard pressed to find a more celebrated and decorated team in World Cup betting history that has yet to win a title than the Dutch. This is team that’s finished second twice and produced some of the greatest World Cup betting players of all time like Johan Cryuff, Marco Van Bastion and Ruud Guillet. Yet it’s never won the final game of the World Cup odds tournament …until now.
With all due respect the Spanish side is tremendous team and every but deserving of its place in the World Cup betting final, but it’s got one major weakness and the Dutch will exploit all the way to the World Cup betting win.
The Spanish side is terrific on defense, tremendous at dominating time of possession and ahs the best attacking defenders in soccer betting. But its forward playing defensive backs and its inability to convert scoring chances will lead to its downfall against the Netherlands.
The Dutch attack is the best in the world with the trio of Wesley Sneijder, Arjen Robben and Robin Van Persey a nightmare for defenses. Spain is as good a defense as you’ll find in the World Cup betting competition and it won’t be easy to crack but if any team can do it it’s Holland.
As we saw in the come from behind win against Brazil (also one of the best defending teams in soccer betting) the speedy Dutch counterattack is all but unstoppable. And with Ramos and Puyol taking more and more chances up front as the World Cup betting competition has progressed look for Spain to vulnerable on defense and Holland to capitalize.
