SBGGlobal and its fans are interested in the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl which is not going to be played in Hawaii for first time in many years! Que Pasa? Well if that’s not enough to surprise you, then you should know that the NFL Pro Bowl Odds game is scheduled for this weekend in Miami in the same place as next weekend’s season ending Super Bowl XLIV 2010 in Dolphin Stadium. The NFL claims they were looking for ways to strengthen the Pro Bowl and at the same time having the PRO BOWL precede the SUPER BOWL will avoid a “somewhat anticlimactic” ending to the NFL Betting Season.
Future sites and dates of the Pro Bowl will be determined at a later date and will include playing the game on a rotating basin in Honolulu the NFL announced. The Current AFC-NFC Pro Bowl Format began in 1971 and rotated annually between host sites until 1980 when it was moved to Honolulu. This 2010 Pro Bowl game won’t be South Florida’s first Pro Bowl since in 1975 the game took place in the Orange Bowl. The Pro Bowl game has also been held in Tampa, Seattle, Dallas, Kansas City, and New Orleans and on three occasions in Los Angles.
The idea to experiment with the date of the game up to precede the Super Bowl Odds has been discussed several times over the past two years with NFL Club Owners, the NFL Players Association. The NFL Player Advisory Council, and other players, and it received very wide player and club support. Moving the Pro Bowl to the Sunday prior to the Super Bowl can add even more excitement to one of the most anticipated weeks of the year, “Super Bowl Week!” Also, moving the locations can showcase the NFL’s top layers to more NFL fans and families around the United States.
