In a Quick look by SBGGlobal SportsBook at the AFC Championship Game, the New York Jets are playing at Indianapolis Colts this Next Sunday January 24th, 2010.
Will the New York Jets run or throw the football this Sunday? The Colts have the 24th ranked run defense that allowed an average of 126.5 yards each game. However they held snug in the red zone and only allowed 10 rushing touchdowns against them. On the other hand the NFL New York Jets have one of the best football rushing attacks and have assembled a pair of great playoff performances that include great games from Shonn Greene the rookie and Thomas Jones. Greene rushed for over 263 yards mostly in the postseason, while Jones has ran for 1.402 yards and 14 touchdowns during the regular NFL Football Betting Season.
The NFL New York Jets have made their playoff success by keeping their opponents from scoring. Their quarterback Sanchez has not had to come from behind in the last three weeks, limiting the need for the jets to abandon the run. The less Quarterback Sanchez has to do, the better for the Jets. The last time he excelled in passing was their opening day game of this season. In their past four wins he has averaged only 112.8 yards passing.
On the other hand On Saturday, the NFL Football Indianapolis Colts dismantled the Baltimore Ravens. The three points allowed is the fewest by the Colts in the postseason since the 1971 Divisional playoffs vs. the Browns (three). Directing a patient offense against the Raven , Peyton Manning finished 30 of 44 for 246 yards. He showed the Ravens there’s a price to pay for keeping the ball out of his hands, at least not until he’s gotten the Colts plenty of points and a playoff win. As the Ravens coach stated, “We didn’t play well enough to win this game against this team on this day,” coach John Harbaugh said. “They played defense the way they always do, they just played it well.” And if the Colts can come up with the same defensive performance and another impressive game by Manning the Jets will have a tough road to hoe in Indianapolis and would be very likely a win for the Colts and on to the NFL SuperBowl Odds in Miami! At present the colts are favored by 7 plus and check out our odds at sbgglobal.com.
