The Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team, without superstar LeBron James, is no team at all and that is very scary, but very real prospect facing the Cavs as they prepare to do battle in Game 4 of the basketball betting odds action versus the Boston Celtics.
As if the Cavs didn’t have enough to be nervous about in this NBA playoff betting series which they are lucky to be tied with the Celtics after two games in Cleveland, now the health of their star player in question. But James is so much more than a star player. There are many star players in the NBA odds action but there is only one LeBron James.
He is a one man wrecking crew, a 2 time defending NBA betting MVP and the best basketball player on the planet. He is the Cleveland franchise and you do not want to go into NBA playoff betting battle without this weapon. In reality, it would take wheel chair and straightjacket to keep him off the court in the upcoming Games 3 and 4 in this NBA playoff odds competition but he certainly won’t be at 100% as was clearly evident in Boston’s Game 2 blowout victory.
So the question for sports betting fans than becomes to what degree with James be able to compete in this basketball betting matchup moving forward. Game 3 will be a huge indicator for how Game 4 in this NBA betting series will go. If LeBron comes out looking healthy in Game 3 and rips the Celtics apart that is a very good omen for the Cavs basketball betting fans. But if he looks sluggish again –or even worse than in Game 2- this NBA playoff betting series could be over very quickly.
As King James goes, so goes the NBA odds on this Game 4 matchup. If James is at 100% or close two the Cavs probably win Game 4. If James is less than that the Celtics will almost certainly win Game Four. Even though the Celtics have injury issues of their own they have depth and experience at most positions of the floor. The Cavs don’t and it could cost the franchise a shot at their first NBA betting title.
