The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers renew their rivalry on Thursday as the two teams meet at the Staples Center in a NBA betting game that can be seen on TNT. The Celtics are coming off a win at Sacramento on Tuesday while the Lakers dispatched of Golden State. Kobe Bryant did not play for the Lakers in that game and he has missed the last four Los Angeles games. If you think that the Lakers can’t win without him you might want to think again as they are 4-0 this season without Kobe.

We’re not looking ahead, we’re not sending messages, we’re just trying to win this game and get better tonight and focus on the next game. The whole trip, we’re not looking at. We’re looking at the next NBA betting game. That’s the way we have to be right now.’’
The Lakers defeated Golden State by 10 points on Tuesday as Kobe sat out again. Shannon Brown was great as he scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Andrew Bynum added 21 points and seven rebounds.
Kobe may not play on Thursday but the Lakers have proven they can win without him. “It’s purely up to him,” head coach Phil Jackson said. “We’ll encourage him to play if he’s ready. If he’s not, that’s OK.”
