Kentucky head coach John Calipari keeps telling everyone that his team is overrated but the Wildcats keep winning and moving up in the polls. They are one of only two remaining unbeaten teams in the country with Texas being the other. The Longhorns are first in this week’s ESPN/USA Today’s coaches’ poll while Kentucky is second. The Wildcats may be ranked second but they did not play well in a 76-68 win over Georgia on Saturday. If they play like that again on Tuesday night they are likely to lose at Florida.

The Wildcats are hoping that Saturday’s tough win gets them ready for Tuesday. “It better be a wake-up, because we’ve got a tougher test to come on Tuesday,” guard Eric Bledsoe said, “That place will be rocking from start to finish, and they’ll be higher than a kite to knock off an undefeated team in their building.”
Kentucky is 16-0 this college basketball betting season and 1-0 in the SEC. They really struggled against Georgia on Saturday but found a way to win. “You’ve got to give Georgia a lot of credit because they came in here and got after it from start to finish,” said Kentucky’s Patrick Patterson, “It’s a reminder that we’re going to get every team’s ‘A’ game in SEC play, and we’re going to have to match that intensity if we expect to keep winning.”
Calipari has been saying that his team is still young and growing and he knows how tough Tuesday’s game will be. “This is a difficult league from top to bottom, and Florida is one of the tougher places to win in the SEC,” Calipari said. “As talented as we are, we’re still a young basketball team and there are going to be some severe tests for us along the way — playing at Florida being one of them.”
