With the Daytona 500 Odds taking place this Sunday 02 14 2010 at 1:00 PM ET, and being Valentine’s Day. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series kicks off the 2010 season at Daytona International Speedway with Sunday’s Daytona 500. The event is the first of two Cup races there this season. We at SBGGlobal.com have a keen interest in this auto racing event that has been preceded by two qualifying races of which the first was the Gatorade Dual #1 won by Jimmie Johnson noising out Kevin Harvick and the finish line, and the Gatorade Dual # 2 won by Kasey Kahne by 0.14 over Toney Stewart.
The four drivers who transferred into Sunday’s Daytona 500 by way of their finishing spots in the Duels are Michael McDowell, Max Papis, Scott Speed and Mike Bliss. Four other drivers got into Sunday’s race by way of qualifying speed: Bill Elliott, Joe Nemechek, Bobby Labonte and Michael Waltrip.
Last year’s winner of the Daytona 500 Betting was Matt Kenseth. The experts pick Tony Stewart to win this year’s race, as it’s the type of race that when it gets down to the end, one has to be really aggressive and a take no prisoner attitude, and that’s when drivers like Tony Stewart who knows how to use his mirrors, which is what it will take to get out in front in the last few laps will win, and on top of that he’s due to win a 500!
Twice he’s led the most laps in the Daytona 500 and still has not won the race. The early start time of the race will work in his favor, assuming the temperatures stay warm keeping the track slick as Tony Stewart likes it to be. This time last year many were wondering is Stewart was going to remain in the tops 20, but now no one asks that question as now it’s just a matter of can he challenge for the championship when it becomes Chase time. There’s no question that he has plenty of success at Daytona, and just happens to be the defending track champion as he won in Daytona in July.
So this all makes for an exciting race this Sunday with some very interesting matchups which you need to check out at SBGGlobal.com and while there you might also be interested in taking a look and the lines and odds on the NBA All-Star game that tips of at 8:25 PM ET from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington Texas.
