The biggest question surrounding this NBA betting series is not whether the Miami Heat has a chance to still come back and beat the Boston Celtics (they don’t), but rather: will Game 5 be Dwyane Wade’s last basketball betting game in a Heat uniform?
The #4 Boston Celtics are well on their way to putting the finishing touches on a round one NBA playoff betting victory over the #5 Miami Heat and if Miami exits the NBA playoff wagering action it will be the last game the superstar Wade plays before becoming an unrestricted free-agent. And sadly for Heat fans that means that it might very well be the last time they see him suited up in Heat garb for an NBA betting contest.
Boston currently leads the series 3-1 after losing Game 4 to a desperate Heat team led by Wade’s franchise record 46 points in Miami’s only NBA playoff betting victory of the series so far. It was one of only two times in the basketball betting series that the Heat were even close in the 4th quarter and for all intense and purposes the Celts have dominated this sports betting matchup.
KG has been strong in the paint, Ray Allen has shot the ball well for most of this NBA playoff betting series, Paul Peirce has been a consistent scoring threat and made the game winning shot in Game 4 and Rajon Rondo has been the best player on the court throughout this NBA playoff wagering contest.
Boston has gotten a complete team effort and outclassed the Heat in every single way and there’s little reason for that to change before Game 5 of this sports betting matchup. Wade has been the only player of note in this series and without him this would be laugher.
For the Heat to beat the Celts in the Boston Garden (a place where Boston ran up a 24-17 record during the NBA wagering regular season) it will take a 50-point game by Wade. The crazy thing is, that’s not all that unrealistic given his ability but even if he drops a nickel there’s no guarantee the Heat will win as his supporting cast is so meager.
And that brings us back to the fact that this could be Wade’s last NBA wagering contest in a Heat uniform. That would be a much bigger loss than any Game 5 beat down.
