NBA Betting Lines – Lakers vs. Warriors Odds

Posted by Paul Pierce on March 15, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA Betting LinesThe Los Angeles Lakers are still the best NBA betting team in the Western Conference but their lead over Dallas and Denver has gotten smaller in recent weeks.   The Lakers don’t seem too concerned though as they are more focused on their own play than what other teams are doing.  The Lakers broke a four-game road losing streak on Friday at Phoenix and they will try and keep that momentum going on Monday at Golden State in a game that can be seen on ESPN.

Lakers are listed as 7 -point favorite with a total of 222 at SBG Global.

The Lakers have lost ground to Cleveland for the best record in the league and they are not happy about that. “I think more than anything else, we want to keep pace with Cleveland,” head coach Phil Jackson said. “That’s the thing that we’ve really been disappointed in.” The Lakers are 18-13 on the road this NBA betting season and they have seven of their next nine away from home.

NBA Betting – New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks Odds

Posted by John Watson on March 13, 2010 | No comments yet

The NBA challenging game for this Saturday matches the New York Knicks (22-42) at the Dallas Mavericks (34-31) at 8:30 pm EST.  The Knicks would like to use the remaining weeks of the season to develop young players and to showcase Eddy Curry to make him more tradeable this summer.  The NBA betting lines and the basketball betting odds on this game should prove to be interesting!

The Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle did not exactly flip his switch, but he has stepped outside his normal coaching comfort zone while the Mavericks were struggling and now Dallas plays faster than any team Carlisle has coached in the past. He said, “The style of play this year is different than anything I’ve done before.”  He also admitted that he did not make changes without taking the pulse of his team leaders. Owner Mark Cuban added, “Rick is definitely not a control freak, He listens and communicates and uses all the resources we have.”

NBA Odds – Trail Blazers vs. Warriors Betting Spread

Posted by John Watson on March 11, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA OddsPortland is in good shape to make the NBA betting playoffs as they are in 8th place in the Western Conference but they can’t afford to look ahead as Memphis is still within striking range.  The Blazers will try and help their cause on Thursday as they face a poor Golden State team.  The problem for Portland is that they have lost their last nine trips to Oakland.

Trail Blazers are listed as 5 -point favorite with a total of 212.5 at SBG Global.

Portland is coming off an 88-81 win over Sacramento on Tuesday even though they didn’t play well. “We’re taking these wins, but we know we have to get better if we’re going to make a push,” said Portland’s Brandon Roy.  Portland has won five of their last seven road games and they should win at Golden State and end that nine-game losing streak. Golden State is simply awful. They allowed 118 points per NBA betting game on their recent road trip where they went 0-5.  “We played our hearts out. We came up short again,” coach Don Nelson said. “I have to be pleased with the way that we’re playing. We just can’t seem to scratch a win out.”

Utah Jazz vs. Detroit Pistons NBA Betting Odds

Posted by Mike Poe on March 10, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA Betting OddsThe Utah Jazz used to be a team that couldn’t win on the road but that has changed this NBA betting season.  The Jazz have been right around the .500 mark all season on the road and that is a major difference for this year’s team.  In the past, the Jazz excelled at home and collapsed on the road. This year Utah has proven they are tough in road games. “We have more confidence on the road now,” said Deron Williams. “We realize if we come and create our own energy and play with intensity on defense and get stops, then we’ll have a chance to win ballgames.”

Jazz listed as 5.5 -point favorite with a total of 202.5 at SBG Global.

This is a key trip for the Jazz as they still have to play at Milwaukee and Oklahoma City. “We have to prove, not only to ourselves but to everyone else, that we can win on the road consistently,” said Carlos Boozer. “This is a good test for our team. When the NBA betting playoffs get here, we’ve got to win on the road. … So we’re looking forward to it.”

NBA Betting – Raptors vs. Lakers Odds

Posted by Paul Pierce on March 9, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA OddsToday we have an excellent NBA Basketball matchup between Toronto Raptors and the L.A. Lakers and this matchup should present the NBA Betting fans and the NBA Basketball lines and odds very challenging stats.  The Lakers are a team on the edge with Kobe Bryant setting the tone.  After their third straight loss, the Lakers are trying to stop the tailspin.  Another loss tonight would give the Lakers their first four game losing streak since April 2007.  Ten of the Lakers’ remaining games are away from home, a troubling proposition for a team that has dropped four consecutive road games.

The NBA Betting and basketball betting lines and odds may be different in this matchup with the Raptors at the Lakers as the Raptors defeated the Lakers’, 106-105 when the teams played in January 2010.  Raptors All-Star Chris Bosh returned to action Sunday after missing seven games due to a sprained left ankle coupled with a stomach virus. He had 12 points and 12 rebound in the Raptors 114-101 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday.  Bosh’s presence against the Lakers should make this game much more interesting. The overall Raptors, however, aren’t so fine and find themselves struggling to hold on to a playoff spot as they start on this four-game West Coast trip.
