NBA Odds – Trail Blazers vs. Warriors Betting Spread

NBA OddsPortland is in good shape to make the NBA betting playoffs as they are in 8th place in the Western Conference but they can’t afford to look ahead as Memphis is still within striking range.  The Blazers will try and help their cause on Thursday as they face a poor Golden State team.  The problem for Portland is that they have lost their last nine trips to Oakland.

Trail Blazers are listed as 5 -point favorite with a total of 212.5 at SBG Global.

Portland is coming off an 88-81 win over Sacramento on Tuesday even though they didn’t play well. “We’re taking these wins, but we know we have to get better if we’re going to make a push,” said Portland’s Brandon Roy.  Portland has won five of their last seven road games and they should win at Golden State and end that nine-game losing streak. Golden State is simply awful. They allowed 118 points per NBA betting game on their recent road trip where they went 0-5.  “We played our hearts out. We came up short again,” coach Don Nelson said. “I have to be pleased with the way that we’re playing. We just can’t seem to scratch a win out.”

Utah Jazz vs. Detroit Pistons NBA Betting Odds

Posted by Mike Poe on March 10, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA Betting OddsThe Utah Jazz used to be a team that couldn’t win on the road but that has changed this NBA betting season.  The Jazz have been right around the .500 mark all season on the road and that is a major difference for this year’s team.  In the past, the Jazz excelled at home and collapsed on the road. This year Utah has proven they are tough in road games. “We have more confidence on the road now,” said Deron Williams. “We realize if we come and create our own energy and play with intensity on defense and get stops, then we’ll have a chance to win ballgames.”

Jazz listed as 5.5 -point favorite with a total of 202.5 at SBG Global.

This is a key trip for the Jazz as they still have to play at Milwaukee and Oklahoma City. “We have to prove, not only to ourselves but to everyone else, that we can win on the road consistently,” said Carlos Boozer. “This is a good test for our team. When the NBA betting playoffs get here, we’ve got to win on the road. … So we’re looking forward to it.”

NBA Betting – Raptors vs. Lakers Odds

Posted by Paul Pierce on March 9, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA OddsToday we have an excellent NBA Basketball matchup between Toronto Raptors and the L.A. Lakers and this matchup should present the NBA Betting fans and the NBA Basketball lines and odds very challenging stats.  The Lakers are a team on the edge with Kobe Bryant setting the tone.  After their third straight loss, the Lakers are trying to stop the tailspin.  Another loss tonight would give the Lakers their first four game losing streak since April 2007.  Ten of the Lakers’ remaining games are away from home, a troubling proposition for a team that has dropped four consecutive road games.

The NBA Betting and basketball betting lines and odds may be different in this matchup with the Raptors at the Lakers as the Raptors defeated the Lakers’, 106-105 when the teams played in January 2010.  Raptors All-Star Chris Bosh returned to action Sunday after missing seven games due to a sprained left ankle coupled with a stomach virus. He had 12 points and 12 rebound in the Raptors 114-101 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday.  Bosh’s presence against the Lakers should make this game much more interesting. The overall Raptors, however, aren’t so fine and find themselves struggling to hold on to a playoff spot as they start on this four-game West Coast trip.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Cleveland Cavaliers Betting Lines and Odds

Posted by John Watson on March 8, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA BettingThe San Antonio Spurs will have to learn to win without guard Tony Parker as he is likely to miss the rest of the regular NBA betting season with a broken hand.  They might have an easier time on Monday at Cleveland if LeBron James does not play for the Cavaliers.  James sat out on Saturday in Milwaukee and the Cavaliers lost 92-85.  Head coach Mike Brown said that LeBron was held out for rest but James did roll his ankle against Detroit on Friday.  The Cavaliers got 30 points out of Antawn Jamison and 27 points from Delonte West but they didn’t have enough to win without LeBron against the Bucks on Saturday.

Cavaliers are listed as a 7 -point favorite at SBG Global with a total of 195.

It is possible that LeBron will be held out again on Monday since the Cavaliers have three days off after this game.  “He has played a lot of minutes for us, and I felt it would be good for him and for the team to hold him out,” Brown said about holding out LeBron on Saturday. “This is my decision based on the minutes I think he has played and his body and all that other stuff.”

NBA Odds: New Orleans Hornets at San Antonio Spurs Betting Spread

Posted by Paul Pierce on March 5, 2010 | No comments yet

NBA BettingThe San Antonio Spurs have had a few days off since defeating the New Orleans Hornets earlier this week.  The Spurs won’t get much time off the rest of the NBA betting season and they are just barely ahead of Portland in 7th place in the Western Conference standings.   The schedule down the stretch is not going to be easy with games against the Lakers, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta and two against Cleveland. “We know how tough it’s going to get,” guard Manu Ginobili said. “We really need to improve. If we don’t improve and take a step forward, we can probably not make (the playoffs).”

Spurs are listed as a 8 point favorite at SBG Global with a total of 197.5.

The Spurs routed New Orleans 106-92 on Monday.  The Spurs have scored at least 104 points in their last three games and they will need to keep the offense going as they play 15 games in the next three and a half weeks.

NBA BettingTwo of the best players in the NBA betting take the court on Thursday as Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers visit Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in a game that can be seen on TNT.  If the teams play anything like they did the last time they met then this should be a good one. The Lakers won 108-107 against Miami back in December at Staples Center as Kobe Bryant hit a three-pointer at the buzzer to win it.  There were 17 lead changes and 11 ties in that contest.

Lakers are listed as a 5 point favorite at SBG Global with a total of 189.

Kobe had 33 points in that game, 17 of which came in the fourth quarter. Pau Gasol totaled 22 points and eight rebounds while Andrew Bynum posted 19 points and eight rebounds. Wade had 26 points, 12 in the fourth quarter.
