At SBGGlobal.com we are interested in looking at the upcoming trades that could affect the lineups of several NBA betting teams. With the All-Star weekend now cleared out of Dallas and the NBA teams are looking ahead to Thursday’s trade deadline. Here’s a look at what may be in store for the NBA in the next several days.
The Dallas Mavericks are off the board after their trades with the Wizards. The Cleveland Cavaliers are going to do something huge, and it appears they zero in on Stoudemire. The Miami Heat could also be in the offer for Stoudemire. The Boston Celtics are not interested in taking on long term salary commitments. They could trade Ray Allen but would need to receive a younger star to keep them in contention. The Houston Rockets are trying to trade Tracy McGrady in hopes of adding talent for the NBA playoffs this year. The Washington Wizards could emerge as a buyer in this market and will take on extended commitments for young talent. The Denver Nuggets are looking for a big man to provide front court strength. The Bobcats and the TrailBlazers are also interested in front court help. The L.A.Clippers may be offering center Marcus Camby for a trade. Sounds unlikely.
The Phoenix Suns are looking to unload Stoudemire in order to gain something before he becomes a free agent. The Washington Wizards are willing to take on salary exchange for expiring monies of Miller and James, and also remain in market to sell 33 year old Jamison in exchange for salary relief and other considerations. The Indiana Pacers have been offering Murphy a rebounder and 3 pt shooter at power forward who is in final year of his deal next NBA betting season. The Chicago Bulls would like to clear more space to recruit free agents this summer and appear on the verge of unloading Tyrus Thomas. The Philadelphia 76′ers would like to move Samuel Dalembert’s one year contract worth $12.9 million next season, and they been targeted as also a team to acquire Stoudemire.
The list of Buyers and Sellers could go on and on, as there is not a NBA team that wouldn’t love to dump a bad contract before this trading deadline. The multitasking Wizards could become both buyers and sellers before the February 18 deadline. After all is said and done the market id bloated more than ever with teams seeking to give away salaries, the problem being, those sellers are finding few buyers, and the fact is that only one team is positioned to make a deal that can affect the Championship races, and that team is the Cleveland Cavaliers.
