With the NBA betting playoff race going down to the wire in both the Eastern and Western Conferences this year there are plenty of compelling basketball betting matchups in the next few days. The Pavers vs the Wizards is not one of them as both teams have already been eliminated from the NBA playoff betting, but in terms of sports betting this matchup still has plenty of appeal.
On April 14th the Washington Wizards will host the Indianapolis Pacers in an NBA betting competition featuring two of the worst teams in the East. On the surface this seems like a pretty ugly sports betting matchup.
The Wizards (25-55) have been the biggest disappointment in the 2009-10 basketball betting odds competition and after trading away its talent, this team is only marginally better than the hapless New Jersey Nets –one of the worst teams in NBA betting history.
The Pacers (32-48) have hardly been better and are the underdog in the NBA odds almost every game they play. But against the Wizards on Wednesday night the Pacers will finally the sports betting odds favorite to pick up the win on the road. And barring any crazy developments the Pacers will leave the nation’s capital with a basketball betting victory.
The Pacers are actually playing their best ball of the NBA betting season right now and are an impressive 8-2 over their last 10 sports betting matchups. Only the Miami Heat has a better record over past ten NBA betting games. The Wizards, on the other hand, are a lousy 4-6 over that same sports betting stretch and can’t wait for the basketball betting season to end.
If you’re looking to bet on NBA odds on April 14th this could be the best game on the calendar. It’s not likely to draw a lot of attention and with the way the Pacers have been playing of late, they ought to get an easy NBA betting victory in Washington.
