The Atlanta Hawks thought they would be done with the Milwaukee Bucks by now. If the Hawks don’t step things up on Friday night they will be done with the Bucks, but in a totally unexpected way as they will be out of the NBA Playoffs betting. The Hawks were expected to dominate a Milwaukee team without Andrew Bogut but the Hawks not only haven’t dominated recently, they find themselves down three games to two heading to Milwaukee for Game 6 on Friday night.
Atlanta is a 2-point favorite with a total of 190 at SBG Global.
The Hawks won the first two games of this series without much trouble but then they quit playing. The Bucks won their two games at home and then upset the Hawks 91-87 in Atlanta on Wednesday. Now the Hawks are in danger of losing the series. “The pressure’s not on us,” Milwaukee’s Brandon Jennings said. The Hawks are definitely feeling the pressure as this series has not gone as expected. “It’s definitely frustrating,” Joe Johnson said “We come into this situation talking so much about what we’re going to do this and that, this and that yet we haven’t done nothing. We haven’t done nothing we set out to do.”
The Hawks seemed to think the series was over after winning the first two games and they have never gotten back on track. Now they have to find a way to win at Milwaukee. “When we’re on the road, we don’t play with the energy and the passion that we do when we’re at home,” Johnson said. “It kills us.”
