The examination of the evolution of the NFL draft is one of the great studies in sports betting history. No other professional sports league draft in sports betting does the draft as well as the NFL and the latest changes debuting in the 2010 NFL draft have raised the bar yet again for sports betting draft protocol.
NFL gambling fans have always looked forward to the NFL draft but this year with several format changes including holding the first and second rounds of the biggest NFL gambling event for months will make the presentation even more satisfying.
For years the NFL draft has consisted of seven rounds of picks spread across two days; always a Saturday and Sunday. For most sports betting fans it was as close to getting their NFL gambling fix as possible in the month of April and a pretty good show, if boring a bit boring at times.
This year the league has re-arranged the format to reduce dead air and try and make every round of the most exciting draft in professional sports even more exciting. Sports betting fans now get the NFL gambling draft spread out over three days instead of cramming it into two very long and drawn out days as it’s been for years.
The first round will be televised on Thursday April 22nd, giving NFL gambling fans a taste of the action with the 2nd and 3rd rounds to follow the next day. Rounds 4-7 will be held on Saturday April 23rd.
So instead of sitting through hours upon hours of senseless commentary and dead air sports wagering fans now get to watch the Draft in small action packed doses that should be to everyone’s benefit.
