The Boston Celtics have been on the road for three road games already. On Wednesday, the Suns will defend their home town of Phoenix against the sports odds that see a visiting Celtics team, televised by NBA-TV. Boston has lost Paul Pierce to injury on his right knee, and without their top player it could be slightly tougher for them to put up any kind of a decent fight against the Suns. But they are still a considerable force in the sports odds to be reckoned with, and can still win even without their captain on the court.
A month ago, Phoenix visited the Celtics and won on the road, 110-103. But last season, the Celtics polished the court with their backsides in Boston, 128-108. Boston already has the first place in the Atlantic Division, so one would expect a team to start taking it easy. Not the Celtics. The Celtics are going for the number one record in the Eastern Conference, and an NBA betting title could definitely not hurt. Boston boasts the number one defense in the league. If Phoenix expects a sports odds win here, they need to step their game up on both sides of the ball and effectively dominate their home court to keep Boston out and close the gap between the Suns and the Lakers in the Pacific Division.
