Tiger Woods apology is all around the news, the web, and basically in more than half of the sports fans talk. Only a few minutes into his apology speech and the media had gone wild. In his press conference, Tiger Woods expressed a deep and what seem to be sincere apology mainly to his wife Elin but also to colleges, sponsors, employees and fans.
Tiger Woods apology video caused mixed and different reactions from the golf betting public and from the public in general. To many viewers, all Tiger Woods did was put up a very well rehearsed play. Others though, did actually think and truly believed every word that the golf superstar delivered in his apology press conference.
The Tiger Woods scandal exploded on November 27th when the media reported that the golf betting superstar had crashed his car into a tree. In the next two weeks that followed the crash all you could read about all over the web and see in the news was talk about Tiger Woods’ mistresses and everything about the Tiger Woods sex scandal getting more and more out of hand. Since then, Tiger Woods stayed hidden from the public eye until the apology conference he made last Friday.
To many viewers, his apology was as if conducted by a robot. Perfectly calculated and with not the slightest sincere feeling in it. Nevertheless, there were some that thought that Tiger’s body language did show remorse and truth. Critics have said that the apology was a lot more focused to his sponsors and less towards his wife and family who really truly deserved it all.
There was even a poll posted up on a popular site of entertainment asking viewers what they thought of Tiger Wood’s apology and the results came up to 53% favoring the transparency of the speech while 47% thought it was not sincere at all.
As far as his return to the golf field, he was not clear on that. He did say though that he will be back. Some say it will be around April others say it will be later on in the year.
