The Minnesota Vikings can clinch the NFC North with a victory on Sunday night at Carolina in a game that can be seen on NBC. The Vikings will also be trying to keep a little pressure on New Orleans for the top spot in the NFC. Carolina comes into this game with not much to play for. The Panthers will not be going to the playoffs and there are questions about whether head coach John Fox will be back next season. The Panthers are going with Matt Moore at quarterback and he is not much better than Jake Delhomme. He was 15 of 30 last week in the loss to New England.

Minnesota is second in the league in scoring at 29.9 points per game. Adrian Peterson has 14 rushing TDs this season while Brett Favre has thrown 27 touchdown passes. The Vikings did miss wide receiver Percy Harvin in last week’s win and he may not play on Sunday either as he is still being bothered by migraine headaches.
Carolina will look to run the ball with DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart but it does not figure to be easy against a rough Minnesota run defense that is fourth in the league.
